We collaborate closely with universities, the higher and further education sector, sixth form colleges, businesses and other educational establishments in the UK and worldwide. This is an essential part of our delivering our strategy and vision.
Collaborative partner institutions deliver approved courses and research programmes, enabling students to gain a СÀ¶ÊÓƵ award in line with the .
We place a huge value on collaborating with partners, fostering links and developing career-enhancing opportunities for both students and academics.
The many benefits of partnerships include increasing the number of progression routes for students, raising the profile of both University and partner, enriching the student experience by encouraging a global mindset, and fostering a sense of community.
We have been working collaboratively since 1992 and welcome proposals from the UK and internationally to extend our range of partnerships.
We operate a number of different partnerships, but the main types are:
Collaborative courses
Where a СÀ¶ÊÓƵ course is delivered with a partner organisation as a franchised or validated programme (or a mixture of the two).
Articulation partnerships
Where students begin a course at their own university before transferring to continue their studies here in СÀ¶ÊÓƵ.
Student exchange partnerships
Where СÀ¶ÊÓƵ students study abroad at partner institutions and we receive students from our partners.
Support for partnerships staff
We provide advice and support to both University and partner staff on the development, approval, monitoring and review of collaborative arrangements.
Other education partnerships
СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Academy Trust
Our University's Academy Trust has been established to support and grow educational excellence across the region, working with other schools and colleges, Academy Trusts and education providers.
