The СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Fashion and Textiles course allows me to study both fashion and textiles together, which is what initially attracted me to study here.
Furthermore, the course allows me to express my imagination freely, onto the garments I create. This university made me the person I want to be.
With fantastic facilities available on my course, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my skills in screen-printing, embroidery and laser cutting. I’ve been able to apply these new skills to my own garment designs. This combination has allowed me to express my creativity through both the print and garment construction.
Throughout my time at the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my studies. I’ve met some great friends and the University staff have helped me achieve everything I wanted to in my final collection.

Throughout my time at the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my studies. I’ve met some great friends and the University staff have helped me achieve everything I wanted to in my final collection. One garment from my final year has been shortlisted for the Batsford Prize 2019, which is a great achievement as only seven people are shortlisted in the UK. In addition, two of my outfits will feature in the Talent of Tomorrow photoshoot for Graduate Fashion Week with only 22 outfits selected in the UK.
Once I graduate, I’ll pursue my ultimate goal in life to work in the fashion industry. I’d like to set up my own fashion label designing garments and textiles myself.
