After more than a decade dedicated to teaching Chris, left the classroom to focus on the small side hustle that suddenly boomed during Covid. His career began internationally, as a TEFL teacher in Costa Rica and Brazil, where he developed a passion for nurturing young learners. Returning to the UK, Chris completed his degree and gained invaluable classroom experience while building strong foundations in child development and psychology.
In addition to this Chris is the co-founder of Freemind Mentors and owns and runs two successful tutoring companies that serve clients across the UK, China, and the Middle East. Through these ventures, he has honed his ability to identify and address different markets creating services and products that cater not just for individual differences but also cultural ones. Chris is also actively involved in the education sector as Treasurer and as an Officer for The Tutors’ Association, reflecting his commitment to raising standards within the industry.
A keen professional networker, Chris spends his week working remotely either from home, Dubai or China. Now based in Brighton, Chris combines his global experience, business acumen, and passion for education to nurture confident, curious, and well-rounded young people.
